Learn how to use the Pokémon Generator
Quick Start Guide
Follow these simple steps to generate and download your random Pokémon team.
Go to Generator
Navigate to the Generator page from the sidebar or home page.
Set Your Filters
Choose regions, types, evolution stages, and other options to customize your search.
Generate Pokémon
Click the 'Generate Pokémon' button to create your random team based on your filters.
View Details
Click on any Pokémon card to see its detailed information page.
Download Sprites
On the detail page, click the 'Download' button to save the Pokémon sprite image.
Detailed Instructions
Using the Generator
1. Access the Generator
Click on "Generator" in the sidebar or use the "Start Generating" button on the home page.
2. Configure Filters
Expand the "Filters & Options" section to customize your search:
- Count: Choose how many Pokémon to generate (1-18)
- Regions: Select specific regions or keep all selected
- Types: Filter by Pokémon types (Fire, Water, etc.)
- Evolution Stage: Choose Basic, Stage 1, or Stage 2
- Special Categories: Include/exclude Legendaries, Mythicals, etc.
3. Generate Pokémon
Click the "Generate Pokémon" button at the bottom of the filters panel. Your random team will appear instantly!
4. Navigate History
Use the Previous/Next buttons to browse through your generation history. You can also swipe left/right on mobile devices.
Viewing Pokémon Details
Click on Any Pokémon Card
Click on any generated Pokémon card to open its detailed information page.
View Complete Information
The detail page shows:
- Large animated Pokémon sprite
- Pokémon types with color-coded badges
- Legendary/Mythical status
- Evolution stage information
- Gender ratio (if applicable)
- Alternate forms (Mega, Gigantamax, etc.)
Toggle Shiny View
Click the "Normal/Shiny" button to switch between normal and shiny sprite views.
Downloading Pokémon Sprites
Method 1: From Detail Page
- Click on a Pokémon card to open its detail page
- Toggle to Normal or Shiny view if desired
- Click the "Download" button in the header
- The sprite image will be saved to your downloads folder
File Format
All sprites are downloaded as .webp files with the naming format: PokemonName-normal.webp or PokemonName-shiny.webp
Tips & Tricks
💡 Pro Tip
Use the "Reset" button to quickly restore all filters to default values.
⭐ Shiny Hunting
Each generation has a 1 in 4096 chance of being shiny. Keep generating to find one!
📱 Mobile Friendly
Swipe left/right on the results to navigate through your generation history.
🎯 Filter Combinations
Combine multiple filters for more specific results. For example, select only Fire types from Kanto region.
